FIKA: is a concept, a state of mind, an attitude and an important part of Swedish culture. Many Swedes consider that it is almost essential to make time for fika every day. It means making time for friends and colleagues to share a cup of coffee (or tea) and a little something to eat.
I can understand why people love to get an early start. Similarly, I can understand why people love a jammed day full of things to do. But, if I’m being honest – I’m getting a little bit tired of the constant need to be busy.
I’ve noticed a very distinct style translated into my photos. It’s dark. Moody. Romantic. Sultry. Dynamic. Luxe. Most importantly, it’s editorial. This brings me to an exciting announcement – the arrival of the Monochrome Minimalist Presets.
Minneapolis’ food scene is one of my favourites – and that goes for all the cities I’ve ever been to. I would say that it’s easily in the top three, primarily because of the large diversity of cuisines that are offered and the number of small restaurants that seem to keep popping up every single day.
