Musings From London: Cigarettes, Falling in Love and Pure Devastation

It's the story of a girl from Minnesota that lost her heart to the charms of a historic city, one boot-clad footstep after another. She ran through the streets after a cab that was the only one available in sight, she got lost on the red buses that drove through town too many times to count, she found true love in the cobblestones and she met a man that took her breath away.

Would you go Sulfate-Free?

As of late, there has been a movement to switch to sulfate-free haircare products. This isn't by any means a recent movement - it's been ongoing for at least a few years. Can We Learn a Thing or Two from Jazz Music?

What do Nat King Cole, Etta James and Louis Armstrong have in common? Perhaps it's the sweet chorus of Dream a Little Dream of Me or the lilting melody of La Vie En Rose that pulls on your heart strings. Maybe it could be the bittersweet tenderness in nearly all of their lyrics. In my mind, jazz music bears the soul and the mind of those not afraid to love, even in the face of rejection.
