The festive season is always and has always been my favourite time of year. I love wrapping presents, writing my Christmas list, listening to music and going to pick out the new additions to each years' decorations. Even if it can be a bit cold outside. The snow and the ice (usually) keep things chilly this time of year, but when it comes to festivities - the colder weather doesn't slow Minnesotans down.
Made from your favourite brut champagne (I prefer Piper Heidsick or Gruet for this one), grapefruit crema (Tattersall is a local favourite) and cranberry juice - it's simple, a crowd favourite, and let's be honest, gorgeous to look at too.
And of course, with the Christmas season comes Christmas wishes - and there's no better place to aggregate all of the Christmas wishes you gather during the year than on a very special list.
Personally, I don’t think there’s anything wrong with having maybe one-too-many chunky knitwear pieces in your wardrobe. Something about a chunky knit to me says, “curl up by the fireplace with cider or whiskey and something sweet to nibble on.” It's the ultimate cold-weather must-have.
Not too thin, not too thick. Not too long, and definitely not too short. No bagging behind the waist, suitable for a small bust. Perhaps I’m a little (read: a lot) picky – but I want to find one that not only ticks off these boxes but is also versatile enough to wear for years to come. Oh, and it has to be black.
